Refund Policy

START Online Business Academy
 

1. Overview

START Online Business Academy (“START,” “we,” “our,” “us”) provides access to digital educational programs, training services, and related platform features. By enrolling in any course, program, or service, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
 

2. Digital Products & Course Access

All START courses, programs, and digital materials are delivered electronically and provide immediate access upon enrollment or activation.
 

Refund eligibility is subject to the conditions outlined below.
 

3. Refund Eligibility & Timeframe

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Refunds will not be issued for any course or program that has been more than 10% completed, as course access, materials, and instructional resources are considered delivered once this threshold is reached.
 

4. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests may be submitted through any of the following official channels:

  • The Billing & Payments page within your START account

  • The My Account page within your START account

  • By email: billing@startatstart.com

All requests must include the purchaser’s name, email address, course or program name, and proof of purchase.
 

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Courses or programs completed beyond the 10% threshold

  • Founder application fees, administrative fees, or processing fees

  • Digital downloads, templates, or tools once accessed

  • Promotional or discounted enrollments, unless otherwise stated in writing
     

6. Exceptions

Refunds may be considered only under limited circumstances, including:

  • Duplicate charges due to technical error

  • Unauthorized transactions verified by the payment provider

  • Failure to provide access to purchased content caused by a system error on START’s platform

All exceptions are reviewed at START’s sole discretion.
 

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting START may result in suspension or termination of access to courses, platforms, recognition systems, or directory eligibility.

We encourage you to contact START support to resolve any billing concerns prior to disputing a charge with your financial institution.
 

8. Program Changes & Availability

START reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue courses, programs, pricing, or platform features at any time. Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
